Amara Por Dios was born and raised in the suburbs of Sweden, where she acquired an interest in art at a young age. It all started in Stockholm, painting as a child in her grandmother’s studio, and then discovering graffiti at age twelve. She found herself drawing graffiti nonstop, slowing down in 2007 to diversify her skills after graduating high school.

Amara’s style began to blossom with various characters, patterns, and bright colors that can now be recognized as her signature. The unique style in her paintings is reminiscent of a more animated, vibrant version of the tribal art left behind by the Aztec and Incan peoples.

In the past two years, Amara has been painting more than ever and is gaining recognition for her work after three successful shows in 2011. She aspires to exhibit her work in other countries and continually evolve her career as a visual artist and designer. Now she want’s to spread her art all over the world.
